What movies are included on the DVD?
Llamas with Hats, Gods of Olympus, Detective Mittens: The Crime Solving Cat, John McCain and his Vegetable Friends, Ferrets, Dad Cop 2, Charlie the Unicorn, Charlie the Unicorn 2, Charlie the Unicorn 3, the Charlie the Unicorn YouTube Live Promo, the Charlie the Unicorn YouTube Live Video, the Charlie the Unicorn Hot Topic Video (The Tomb of Horrors), Socksual Innuendoes, The Cloak, World of Dentists, Trapped in the Garage, and How to Play the Violin.
What are the special features?
The special features are as follows:
-
Two commentary tracks for each of the videos listed above. One serious, one… quite a bit less serious.
- Dad Cop 2 Re-Edited: This is Dad Cop 2, only re-cut using all of the worst takes of every scene instead of the best takes.
-
Two exclusive cartoons, made just for this DVD: "Hot Dogs" and "The Belly Button Fairy."
-
Behind the Scenes: A rare glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes here at FilmCow.
-
Hurricane Charley Documentary: My friend Gian and I riding out the storm back in 2004.
-
The Charlie the Unicorn “Adult Swim” Video Pitch: This is the pitch, in its entirety, that I made to Adult Swim back in 2007 when they were interested in making a Charlie show.
-
Random Audio Pitches: These are short “pitches” I did for Detective Mittens, Gods of Olympus and Space Mission Alpha (the latter of which was never actually made.) Basically, these are short sections of dialogue being delivered in-character to give an idea of what the cartoon will be like.
How much does it cost?
$10, plus $4 for standard shipping. The shipping cost is the same for international orders.
Why would I buy this. All of the videos are already online for free.
Well, there's the special features and commentary. And the videos are in high quality, and playable on your TV. Also the DVD has magical powers and will turn all of your lawn equipment into solid gold.
Plus, the FilmCow servers cost a lot of money to run, and the movies here take a lot of time to create. So by purchasing this DVD you're helping us make more movies, as well as helping us finally purchase that pony we've always wanted to eat.
Why does the order button take me to another website?
The company that is manufacturing and shipping the FilmCow DVD is "Kunaki." Kunaki has been around since 2005, and by using them to manage the order taking and shipping you'll get your order much quicker than if I had to ship all of the DVDs by myself.
What format is the DVD in?
The DVD is region-free NTSC. Which means it’ll play on any DVD player if you live in an NTSC country (United States, Canada etc.) If you live in a PAL country (like England) most DVD players will still play it fine, just be sure yours is NTSC compatible. You can also play it on any computer that has a DVD drive, or your Xbox 360's DVD player if you have a 360. At the moment I have no plans to make a PAL version.
How do I pay for the DVD?
The company I’m selling it through takes credit-cards and PayPal.
Who created this glorious masterpiece of a DVD?
The DVD was designed and created by me (Jason Steele), and the special features and commentary were created by me, Chris Alex, Joshqua Steele, Nick Alex and Jennifer Alex. The photo on the insert located inside the DVD case was taken by Stephanie Steele.
