A quick update…

Posted by Jason Steele | Wednesday 11 November 2009 2:32 pm

It’s possible that “Llamas 2″ will be out before “A Serious Business Meeting.”  I’ve been working on both, and I’m thinking it would be better not to have two “crazy office life” videos released back to back.  “A Serious Business Meeting” is totally different than “The Interview”, but still… they both take place in an office and both contain crazy office shenanigans.  We’ll see.

Also, it was brought to my attention that the Charlie the Unicorn “Hot Topic” video was taken down from the Hot Topic website a while back, and thus is no longer available anywhere on the web.  So I’ve decided to put it up on YouTube and FilmCow, which will happen in the next couple of weeks (after I tweak it a little.)

In other news, my friend Robert Benfer is now offering his feature length claymation “Klay World: Off the Table” as a download for only 5 bucks:

For those of you who haven’t seen it, it’s hilarious.

Are the Llamas wearing two hats each this time?

All sounds good- I won’t bother asking about Spatula Madness. Don’t worry. I understand. I’m “working” on a film right now as well. It can be a tiresome pain in the lower regions.

Pieman – there’s a trailer for the movie on the page I linked to, and something like 50 claymation movies on his website.

I think I’ve already asked this before, but what are you guys doing in the “commentary b” for dad cop 2 and a world of dentists? Also, please don’t make the next animations all squiggly like the other recent ones. Seriously. Don’t do it. Whales, babies, and orphans will die if you do. But hey, I’m sure looking forward to the next videos! Also, can you please check out mine? yay!

I hope Llamas wit Hatz II will be as hilarious as da original.

  20. Comment by EricTheDerek — November 13, 2009 @ 6:19 pm

BananaRDP – don’t tell jason what he can and can not do. he’s an artist and should be able to create his art in any way he feels it should be created.

i, for one, loved the squigglevision. i don’t understand what people dislike about it. i think it’s a really neat way of animating… especially in a cartoon that doesn’t really have any action or movement to begin with.

relatedly, i wish the Home Movies peoples stuck with the squigglevision.

Jason, I’ve commented on posts before, so don’t think I’m new here or something. Anyway, Llamas with hats was hilareous and I just can’t wait for the sequal.

Your office cartoon release logic makes perfect sense to me, Jason. Keep up the good (and strategically released) work! Looking forward to watching the Hot Topic video again after you release it here.
