Holy shit! You have a ton of instruments.

But I disagree with your idea of a bassist. Im a bassist and I fucking play it better than every guitarist I (personally) know. I'm the lead in both of my bands. I can do crazy solos.

Anyway, I wish you good luck on your violen-eating diet :)

Actually, can you make a quick recording of the unknown really annoying sounding instrument? I am intrigued. :D

WOW! That is a heck of a lot of instruments. Well... I'm 12 and may not know a lot, but I'm pretty sure that was not a glockenspiel. My dad and I made a glockenspiel and it looked more like bars of various sizes henging on a string. You hold the end of the string in one hand and then hit the bars with a rubber mallot. The picture entitled "glockenspiel" is, in fact a set of bells (which I play in my school's band).

You have obviously never heard a good Tin Whistle player then, Devils Dog. It can really be a interesting instrument when played correctly. After all, it was a gift from the lizard god Zargoth himself, and it is infused with his lizardy power.

It's good to have lots of instruments on hand because you never know when that need to have several notes of loud guitar in your shakuhachi/moog/bass/cornet piece comes demanding utterance.

Your Mbira is nice but it's totally different than mine,
see: http://pod.ath.cx/kalimba.jpg

Mine is more of a pentatonic scale and I can't put the thing down
once I pick it up. It's also known as the kalimba. Earth wind
and fire once had a song where they put it thru a distortion pedal
and a wah wah, not exactly what the designers had in mind.
