Current projects:

Here is my schedule for the rest of the month.

Hot Topic has asked me to make a short Charlie clip for their site, which will be shown on the Charlie-products page. This is what I’m currently working on and it should be finished in a couple of days.

Then, I have dialogue recorded for a couple of short cartoons – the first of which is called Gods of Olympus (the others are currently untitled.) If all goes according to plan you should see one or two of these new cartoons by the end of the month.

Work on the Spatula Madness feature will continue as soon as my new computer comes in, which should be in the next few weeks. My current computer is old and I’m tired of my programs crashing because I have too many spatulas on screen at once.

So many spatulas.

hello

This is not a spatula. I do not know what this is, or how it got into my post.

Please do not sellout to hot topic, they take everything that is unique and cool in the world, and turn it into money making profits. Look what they did to fred. This makes me sad.

Hot Topic has been selling Charlie merchandise for over a year.

And taking something “unique and cool” and turning it into “money making profits” is exactly what you want to happen with independent artists of any kind. It means they can afford to work independently and not for a studio. Whether it be an indie band, a painter or an animator, the ability to profit off one’s work without the influence of a record label or studio is the only way people can create their art for a living without compromising any sort of creative input.

“Selling out” is letting a TV studio make a Charlie series while cutting out the surrealism to “reach a larger audience.” Selling out is NOT “making money of any kind off one’s work.”

The Spatula Madness full-length movie is probably my most anticipated movie for a long time now. I can’t wait till it comes out.
